Hardin County Kentucky - Country Life Next To The Bright Lights of the Big Cities

One of the delights of Hardin County, KY, is country life right next door to the bright lights of the big cities. Louisville is only about 50 minutes away from Radcliff and Fort Knox on the Hardin County border while Nashville, Tennessee is about 2.5 hours away. And Cincinnati, Ohio is only 2.5 - 3 hours, depending on your route.

Recently, friends of mine enjoyed an evening of horse fun at Churchill Downs. It was Downs After Dark Night and Dress to Impress Fridays complete with prizes so they all went in their dress-up best. They didn't win a prize but thoroughly enjoyed themselves in the summer night breezes.

Right before Christmas, a client mentioned that she and a visiting friend enjoyed the day in Nashville, exploring the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Musicians Hall of Fame, and they even went to the famous Tootsie's Bar for a soda and survey of the many photos of famous singers for the last 50 + years. They had a delightful visit and loved the scenery on the pleasant drive.
