Radcliff, Kentucky - Sweet Country Living and Big City Conveniences!

Radcliff, Kentucky is located right next door to Fort Knox and is growing! This is, in part, due to the great changes occurring at Fort Knox which require more personnel coming to work at the base.

Radcliff is a great town. With a population of about 22,000, it's big enough to have plenty for all your needs - from shopping to medical to educational and more - and small enough to enjoy country living and knowing your neighbors.

You'll find familiar favorites like Walmart, Walgreens, McDonald's, Taco Bell, and Kentucky Fried Chicken. You'll also find new and intriguing places like Los Nopales Mexican Restaurant, Somewhere In Time Antique Mall, and Blazer's Fun Zone.

Right next door to Radcliff on the opposite side of Fort Knox is Elizabethtown, with even more choices for you and your shopping and eating out needs, including a mall with three anchor stores, excellent nationwide and local hardware stores, and so much more.

If you are looking for the Radcliff, Kentucky newspapers, you have choices there as well. The News-Enterprise is the Hardin County newspaper and does a great job of covering all the local news. It publishes six days a week - every day except Saturday. With Louisville only a short drive away, I also appreciate reading The Courier Journal which is a daily paper. The Radcliff Sentinel can be found at various sites in the city, such as Walmart, and comes out once a week. The last time I checked, it was 35 cents, and you just pop that into the little tube attached to the paper dispenser. The Fort Knox newspaper, The Turret, is given away free at various locations around town in both Radcliff and Elizabethtown.

It's a wonderful place to come home to, letting you enjoy sweet country living with big city conveniences!
